The Greater Washington Chapter of Ascend is so excited to introduce you to our Feed Your Hospital initiative. Everyday, #HealthcareHeroes and medical workers are fighting this global pandemic.
Feed Your Hospital delivers meals to frontline COVID-19 healthcare workers by supporting local Asian restaurants in America's most impacted communities.
We're coordinating directly with Asian restaurants in the DMV area to provide hot meals to hospitals and medical offices in our community. Please join us in fundraising $15,000 to donate meals to our heroes at Feed Your Hospital Link. We will be providing updates on our progress through our various social media channels.
There is nothing more core to Asian American identity than the Asian restaurant. For many of our families, this is how we first came to America. Feeding people is central to Asian culture; feeding healthcare workers allows us to take care of them. 100% of your donations go directly to restaurants serving hospital workers.

After our initiative launched April 22, 2020, we have already raised over $1,000 in less than 24 hours! That calculates to about 100 meals that we have already begun reaching out to local hospitals and restaurants to coordinate our very first meal delivery.
All of this would not be possible without your support, so we wanted to thank everyone for your help in sharing this initiative with your networks.
