The Corporate Executive Initiative (CEI) Thought Leadership Program aims to increase effectiveness of employers’ Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) investments into the Asian Pacific American (APA) community. To accomplish this within the Greater Washington Area (GWA) organizations, the CEI Thought Leadership Initiative carefully curated Best Practices and Playbook resources that empower them to maximize effectiveness of their existing APA I&D investments. CEI THOUGHT LEADERSHIP VISION
- Base the Best Practices and Playbook resources on artifacts rooted in empirical studies, articles published by Ascend National, and practical advice and input from I&D leaders and advocates across the Greater Washington area
- Be the “other side of the equation” and complement to Ascend’s Corporate Executive Leadership Program (CELP) by helping organizations address the same challenges in a concrete, actionable way
FROM AWARENESS TO ACTION
The Ascend Greater Washington Area APA I&D Playbook focuses on what Organizations need to do to direct investments towards actions that deliver results. We use the Aware-Care-Act-Be framework to provide a visual roadmap of an organization’s journey to achieve diversity goals:
