Smita Sarao is a Managing Director (2024) at Accenture. Smita was a Senior Manager within the Technology Practicehas been part of several client program management teams, helping them run their program management offices for large scale system implementations. Smita is experienced in Program and Project Management and has been responsible for schedule, post production support and resource management. Smita has been recognized for her ability to work with clients in challenging business situations and empowering teams to take on challenges with an optimistic attitude to ensure end goal is met.

Seasoned Capital Markets and Finance professional with 15 years of extensive experience in mortgage finance, securitization, whole loan pricing, valuation and fixed income capital markets, where Xianyun Liu acted in transactional and advisory roles. She specialize in structured finance, credit risk transfer, liquidity strategies, securitization readiness, prepayment and credit risk evaluation and model validation.
She built high-performance teams to deliver seamless service experiences for my clients and develop robust but achievable approaches to solving complex business issues for financial service clients. Engagements cover securitization transaction service, regulatory capital for Stress testing, model risk management, valuation of fixed income securities and whole loan portfolios, credit risk & financial modeling and cash flow forecasting.
Ann Thangada is a Senior Tax Manager with over 17 years of experience in public and private industry. Her experience spans across multiple closely held entrepreneurial companies, including federal government contractors, real estate, hospitality, technology, professional corporations and family owned businesses, as well as the entrepreneurial business owners, in the middle market industry.
Ann is responsible for the management and implementation of client service tax plans, with extensive experience in working with high net-worth individuals, C-suite executives, family offices, partnerships, limited liability companies and S Corporations. She supervises work performed by the tax team, works closely with business owners and controllers to ensure adherence to all compliance matters and deadlines, and is responsible for ensuring open lines of communication with the entire engagement and client team. She has assisted owners with a variety of critical issues, including year-end tax planning and projections, choice of entity, proper accounting methods, multi-state tax returns, federal and state credits, and general business consulting
Bhavini Amin is a senior executive with 25+ years of experience driving strategy, growth, and operations across fintech, banking, investment management, and lending organizations at CoreLogic.
Most recently, Bhavini was the Chief Marketing and Revenue Operations Officer at CoreLogic, which acquired Roostify, a fintech, B2B SaaS company, where Bhavini helped lead the organization through a period of rapid growth; maturing marketing capabilities, building a revenue operations function and setting the company up for acquisition.
Bhavini is also an active advisor within the startup ecosystem including VCs, Accelerator Programs and Startup Incubators globally particularly helping India-based startups looking to expand into the US markets.
Prior to CoreLogic, Bhavini has made significant contributions in her roles at top Fortune 500 companies such as Freddie Mac, T. Rowe Price, Bank of America, Vanguard, Northwestern Mutual, and Merrill Lynch.

Ms. Denise Lew is a Specialist Leader in Deloitte Consulting’s Federal Human Capital practice, supporting healthcare quality, patient safety, performance improvement, and strategy projects as a subject matter expert in military health. Prior to joining Deloitte in 2011, she spent 26 years of service in the United States Air Force as a healthcare administrator. Ms. Lew is board-certified by the American College of Healthcare Executives, advisor/champion of the Deloitte Consulting Asian Business Resource Group for the Greater Washington Area, board member for the ACHE Asian Healthcare Leaders Forum, and Chairman of the Board for the USAF Medical Service Corps Officers’ Association.
Denise has a B.A. in Health Arts and Sciences from the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters of Public Administration from California State University, East Bay.
Dina is a Director at PwC, specializing in sales and marketing across a range of industries, including retail, consumer packaged goods, and technology. She helps companies tackle challenges such as improving customer experience, go-to-market effectiveness, operational efficiency, and technology investments. Dina received her MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and BA from Macalester College.
Han Wang is a Director of Audit Practices within Capital One Corporate Audit Services, overseeing audit methodology and processes, the quality assurance and improvement program, department training program, and special initiatives. Currently, she manage a team of six associates of varying levels from campus hires to senior managers. In addition, she serve as a committee member on Audit's diversity and inclusion initiative; and most recently, he joined the leadership team for the department's Audit Rotation Program. Prior to joining Capital One, she was with PwC for 9 years providing internal audit consulting services to companies in banking and capital markets.
Irene is VP, Marketing Operations, Major League Baseball in 2022 (formerly a Director at PwC Advisory and is a part of the Consumer Markets Customer practice).
Irene is responsible to establish new capabilities to streamline marketing through planning, information sharing, and broader collaboration within and outside of Marketing.

She connects cross-functional ideas and teams to determine viable paths forward that balance risks with rewards. She builds collaborative environments through transparent communications to facilitate delivery of company priorities. Irene leads and mentors teams for high-performance. She delivers results in marketing, technology, and other functions for travel, consumer products, and multiple other industries.
She has over 17 years of experience (10 in management consulting) in creating engaging user experiences to facilitate customer action and loyalty. Irene has worked extensively with clients in the travel, industrial manufacturing, and professional services industries on a wide range of challenges from customer-centric strategies and member engagement to IT roadmapping and software delivery. She is proud to regularly see both her clients and their customers interact with a number of digital and physical capabilities that she has helped them to enable.
Prior to her consulting career, Irene served as an account director at interactive marketing firm Nurun, and a multimedia producer/developer at FOXSports.com and W.W. Norton & Company. She has also provided public relations as the sports information director for Amherst College, where she earned a B.A. in chemistry and history. Irene earned her M.B.A. and a Master of Science in Information from the University of Michigan.

Over 15 years at Freddie Mac’s Investment and Capital Markets division – providing liquidity, funding and pricing to mainly non-bank and small originators of single family mortgages. I’ve fostered relationships with over 75 business partners and lead a team of 4 that make executing business with Freddie Mac a friendly experience. We run best execution analysis and work with our portfolio on negotiating profitable trades and pass along the benefit to our originators. Technology and information advances have significantly changed the mortgage landscape – its very efficient compared to even 3 years ago – margins are very compressed. With over 11 years of professional services experience, Liang Jensen is currently a Director within the PwC’s Financial Markets practice based in Washington, DC. She lead a multidisciplinary regulatory consulting team consisted of cross-line-of-services talents with diverse background in accounting, tax, and advisory.
Her primary responsibilities include leading the marketing efforts of the distinctive service offerings, sharing insights and value delivered with internal/external stakeholders, and managing joint business relationship partners from both within and outside the firm.
As part of an active sale steam, she is actively expanding my internal and external network within the region, identifying new market opportunities, and leading multiple pursuit efforts relevant to regulatory and financial reporting requirements. She viewed by practice leaders as someone who is well connected with internal/external stakeholders and consistently stretch outside of comfort zones to help close business opportunities to grow our practice.
As a recognized technical leader, she has the drive and ability to lead multiple large/complex consulting engagements simultaneously. She is actively seek out and connect with Asian and Women leaders, and am an active member of Ascend (Pan-Asian Leaders) promoting diversity in leadership. Mahwish Hamlani is a Managing Director for Accenture’s Financial Services Technology practice. She has over 18 years of experience with leading large and complex transformation programs for Accenture's commercial and federal clients. Mahwish is also involved in numerous Inclusion & Diversity initiatives to help retain, attract, and advance women and minorities within Accenture. She is also the Executive Sponsor for the Interfaith and Muslim Employee Resource Group.
Mahwish is the recipient of the Washington DC Women in Technology Leadership award and 40 Under 40 award. Mahwish has a Bachelors of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Masters from University of Virginia. She lives in the Virginia with her husband and two children.

Rahul Jain is an Associate Director of Enterprise Architecture and AI, Accenture
We are excited to feature Rahul Jain, from Ascend CELP Cohort 2, and his recent transition over to Accenture in March. After over 13 years with CareFirst BlueCross Blue Shield as the Senior Director of their Digital Factory in charge of delivering their key digital products, Rahul has made his way to Accenture. As Associate Director of Enterprise Architecture and AI, Rahul will have the opportunity to continue to drive large-scale modernization and digital change within large organizations.
Reena Vora is a Senior Manager in Accenture’s IT Strategy practice and has more than 12 of experience in information technology with 9 of those years spent at Accenture in IT Strategy. Mrs. Vora’s experience in the information technology field includes IT Strategic Planning, Governance, Operating Model Design, Process Improvement and Enterprise Architecture. Mrs. Vora’s experiences include leading several efforts for multiple Federal CIO organizations to develop and implement Strategic Plans, Governance models, and IT Processes / capabilities including but not limited to Risk Management, Demand Management, Resource Management, Project Management and Change / Configuration Management.
Mrs. Vora has an MBA from University of Virginia, Darden School of Business and a BS from the University of Virginia, McIntire School of Commerce.
Currently, leading an analytical team with diverse responsibilities that are central to Freddie Mac’s core business of buying and selling credit risk. Previously, led a team that built quantitative models that helped the loss mitigation business. Prior to that, Rushi Patel worked as a quantitative modeler in a team that build credit scorecard and loss mitigation models at Freddie Mac. He have been with Freddie Mac for 10 years.
Prior to me joining Freddie Mac, he worked at HUD as a programmer analyst (for 7 months) analyzing mortgage data and GSE loan purchase trends. Prior to that, his career was largely in transportation safety research.
He has a MS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and a MS in Finance from American University (part-time while working at Freddie Mac).
Tommy La is a data analytics and information management strategy leader, and has more than 11 years of management and delivery experience helping Fortune 100 companies, and major federal agencies.
Tommy has diverse project experiences that span from strategy formulation to implementation/execution. He has been an advisor to, and has supported senior-level directors and C-suite executives to transform operations and deliver sustainable and effective analytics solutions.
