
With over 11 years of professional services experience, Liang Jensen is currently a Director within PwC’s Financial Markets practice based in Washington, DC. She leads a multidisciplinary team consisting of cross-line-of-service talents with diverse expertise in valuation and fixed income, accounting, tax, and regulatory and risk advisory.
Liang's primary responsibilities include leading the marketing efforts for the group's distinctive service offerings, sharing insights and value delivered with internal and external stakeholders, and managing relationship partners from both within and outside the firm.
As part of an active business development team, she is actively expanding internal and external networks, identifying new market opportunities, and leading multiple pursuit efforts. She is viewed by practice leaders as someone who is well connected with key stakeholders and consistently stretches outside of comfort zones to help close business opportunities and grow the practice.
As a recognized technical leader, she has the drive and ability to lead multiple large and complex fixed income products valuation and consulting engagements simultaneously. In the past 7 years with PwC, she had opportunities managing large teams consisting of specialists around the globe to successfully deliver multi-faceted projects within budget and timeline. She is recognized by the practice as someone who continuously provides technical training to develop the next top-performing staff class.
As a proactive coach and diversity leader, Liang has been actively involved in training new talents to fill business needs in the pipeline and promoting diversity in the workplace including developing Asian and Women leadership.
In 2016, Liang voluntarily filled in for an instructor/coach role in Accelerate: Activating Winning Strategies for Leadership Success to provide coaching for a diverse group of experienced talents.
Liang is a CFA charterholder and holds a master’s degree in Statistics from Cornell University.
