Dear colleagues:
I am excited to present our first in a series of Corporate Executive Initiative (CEI) Greater Washington Area (GWA) newsletter and our upcoming new CEI website. As some of you may be aware, we launched CEI in the GWA in 2015. Since its inception, CEI has established a network of Pan-Asian Executives in the GWA and completed three cohorts of Corporate Executive Leadership Program (CELP).
CELP has achieved positive results for our Pan-Asian community. As you will see from our newsletter, we are thrilled to share that three participants from Cohort 1 and four from Cohort 2 have advanced in their careers. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our CELP colleagues on their achievements.
In the summer of 2018, we launched our CEI Thought Leadership (CEI-TL) effort with a focus on translating the various Ascend Foundation White Papers into a toolkit. In this newsletter, we discuss further our continuing efforts on the CEI-TL program.
This year, we will focus on the expansion and engagement of our CEI community, offering events and networking forums for our Executives, CELP Alumni and Mentors, Sponsors and Partners. We hope you enjoy reading this newsletter. We plan to publish this newsletter quarterly to keep you abreast of progress and to identify opportunities for your involvement. We welcome your feedback, suggestions, and ideas as we enter this new year. Thank you for your continued commitment to the advancement of our Pan-Asian colleagues.
